CalRHIO sponsors projects that demonstrate the feasibility and benefits of health information exchange.
Safety Net Health Information Exchange Toolkit
Supported by a grant from the Blue Shield of California Foundation, CalRHIO has developed a
Health Information Exchange Toolkit
 (HIE) for safety net providers. The purpose of the toolkit is provide templates, processes and documents that can be used in a variety of ways to support HIE initiatives.
These tools can be leveraged across the safety net community including providers, consortia staff, organizational IT staff, etc. The templates can easily be modified based on the specific needs of each organization or initiative. In addition, the toolkit is dynamic and will continue to grow as more tools are developed by CalRHIO, as well as other organizations.
Use the left hand toolbar to navigate through the toolkit.
