Vendor Solutions
To support organizations that are seeking information on health information exchange (HIE) solutions, CalRHIO is publishing a summary of vendor responses received to a request for information issued earlier in 2006. The information gathered in the RFI process provides a rich resource of potential HIE solutions proposed by various vendors.
CalRHIO’s RFI was aimed at identifying potential technical solutions to enable Emergency Department physicians to access integrated clinical information provided by multiple data sources across the health care community. Vendor responses address a specific use case and set of requirements related to CalRHIO’s ED Linking to Information Project. Eighteen solutions are categorized as “comprehensive/total solutions” and eight are “component solutions.” In an effort to meet our requirements, many of the solutions proposed are product suites comprised of various vendor applications. Each vendor listed reviewed and approved its summary for publication and is responsible for the accuracy of the information as of October 2006. CalRHIO does not endorse any vendor, product, or solution presented. Readers should independently assess the contents. Because technology solutions change rapidly, please contact companies directly for the most current information and further details. CalRHIO is continuing to review potential technology solutions for HIE. As additional information becomes available we will publish it. |
